Aimviva Newsletter 30 November 2018
After months of criticism about the old website we finally bit the bullet at our 1 year anniversary and splashed out on a shiny new website. The final newsletter of the year is a bit late as a result, we wanted to make sure we were live before sending it out
Hopefully we have simplified all the information that potential members need as well as organising the newsletters and blogs so that they are easier to find

With Hey Travelista,  members can save 30-70% on your next 5-star hotel booking.
They also bundle value added inclusions (such as free breakfast, spa, F&B credit etc) to create a real hotel experience for you – all for one ‘insider’ low price – no hidden extra fees.
Hey Travelista provides instant guaranteed booking confirmations, but this trusted platform is currently only available to a select set of curated members – why should you miss out?

Advance Hold Flights for US$2

If you haven’t used Gagfare yet then do take a look.
Their unique proposition is that you can book up to a year in advance and hold the ticket until the ticketing deadline with charges for this as low as US$2 for up to 9 people.
Its ideal for when you want to make plans but not be locked in. For example Xmas holidays, Rugby World Cup, Conferences etc.
Not all flights have this facility so you do have to dig around a bit but definitely a feature we like

Travel Tip – Save Money with house sitting
Do you have pets? What do you do when you travel? Here in Hong Kong many people have domestic helpers who can stay home with pets, but we don’t and we are not alone. Every time we go away we have to find a trusted friend, or kennel our menagerie which is both expensive and distressing for the animals. The last time we travelled our dog (Tigger) didn’t eat for 2 days.
We wrote a blog in October about traveling with pets. Today I stumbled on  this link https://housesittingmagazine.com/house-sitting-websites-compared/ which breaks down the differences between the competing services as a pet owner and/or a sitter

Even if you don’t have pets, but love animals this could be a great way to get free accommodation when you travel. Way better than couch surfing right?
